MAIL NOTICE.
Mails, per Gothenburg, for Wellington Nelson, and the Australian Colonies will close at Christchurch, at 4 p.m., and lyttelton, at 6 p.m., this day. Mails perTararua, for the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, via Panama, and the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 1 pm, and Lyttelton at 2.15 pm on Wednesday the 6th of May. ' Letters for Mexico, South America, the Continent of Europe, and other Foreign Countries, must be posted at Christchurch before 12 noon. Money orders must be procured at Cliristchurch and Lyttelton before 4 p.m., on Tuesday, the 6th of May, and registered letters posted before 11 am, on Wednesday, the 6th of May. Late Letters for the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Northern ports of New Zealand, can be posted up to 2,15 pm, by payment of an extra 8d itaiup.
