Mails forJOtago and Southland, will close at Chrntchurch at 11 a.m., and Lyttelton at noon, on lliursday, the 6th inst. Mails per Tararua, for the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, via Panama, and tho Northern ports of New Zealand, will cloao at Chrutcliurch, at 1.30 p.m., and Lyttelton at 2.15 p.m., on Wednesday, tho 6th inst. Lotten for South America, the continent or Europe, and other Foreign Countries, must be posted at Chriitchurch before 11 a,m, Money orders must be procured at Chriitchurch and Lyttelton before 4 p.m., on Tuesday, the 4th inst,, and registered letters posted before 10 a,m., on Wednesday, the 6th inst.
