Thb Melbourne, Adelaide, and N.Z, Steam Ship Co r s 5.3. Alhambfa, Capt J. M'Lean, arrived in harbour from Melbourne via Hokitika and Dunedin, at 12 p.m. yesterday. TheAlhambra left Melbourne at 5 p.m. on the 4th inst, and arrived at Hokitika at 4 p.m. on the 9th inst. Sailed for Port Chalmers at noon on the 10th, and arrived at that port at 4 p.m. on the 12th. Left Port Chalmers for Lyttelton at 5 p.m. on the 14th inst, arriving as above. We are indebted to Mr Longfield, the purser, for flies of Melbourne *nd Otago papers The Alhambra sailed for Wellington last opening. The schooner Caledonia arrived ia harbour yestoday from Dunedin ; with a cargo of timber, conaigned to E. S. Dalgety and Co.
