Mr ILII, Stafford's c. m, Nebula, o yrs, The entries are more than double those of last year, and there is every probability of a much more exciting race. In the list of members recently elected by tho Jockey Club, we omitted to mention the niune of Mr J. S. Cuverhill. A want of some importance will soon be satisfied by the arrival of a new set of Jockey scales and wi-ignis, selected by Mr Creyke for the use of the club. The scales, which are of the beat quality, are supplied by Herring and Son of Chertsey, and have been shipped on board the Melita. Tho weighing chair hitherto inuse is a very defective affair, and is not altogether reliable.
