The Airedale arrived last night from Weliing T ton at half-past 8 o'clock, having left there at 12 (midnight) on Sunday. At 3 p.m. the same day the left the wharf at Wellington for this port, but afterwards seeing the Panama steamer coming in, she put back, and arrived here as above. . ..The barque Laughing Water arrived from ' Newcastle,'N.S.W., yesterday, at..4 p.m.,' having sailed on the 11th February. When two days out passed the schooner Amateur, for Nelson, from Newcastle, .having sailed for that port oil the 8 th, on coming through Cook Straits on the 23rd, passed the barque A. H. Badger; on the same night experienced heavy gale from the soiithward. Experienced fine weather and light winds on the passage to making the land. . The barjue -l is owned by Messrs. Langdown and Co., Ghrist- • church, and is in command of Captain Taylor,-late of the Triumph. Her cargo comprises .626 tons of coals, consigned to the owners. Tin A. E. Badger arrived yesterday at tie same hour as the Laughing Water,, from Newcastle. , She sailed on the Bth Feb.
