His Honob the Superintendent.—Dr. Featherston returned to town on Thursday. When lie left Manawatu no instalment of the £25,00. had been paid to the natives for the block, but it has been arranged that the whole of the money will be handed over in onesum at a period some six weeks or two months hence. It is probable that Dr. Featherston will pay another visit to the West Coast before that time.— Wellington Independent, April 21.
