Spices.—The imports of cinamoo have increased this year as compared with 1864, having amounted to 493,9701b to July 31, as compared with 368,7851b in the first seven months of 1864. The receipts to July3l, 1863, were, however, 506,7321b. The imports of ginger to July 31 this year were 24,210 cwt. as compared with 16,872 cwt. in 1864, and 7,912 cwt. in 1863 (corresponding periods). The imports of nutmegs to July 31 this year were 213,038 lb, as compared with 467,592 lb in 1864, and 241,444 lb in 1863 (corresponding periods). The receipts of pimento were 18,508 cwt. in the first seven months of this year, against 35,459 cwt. in 1864, and 9,711 cwt. in 1863 (corresponding periodic).
