He is greatly gratified to be able to compliment the men upon their soldierly appearance, and the excellent manner in which they performed the various duties assigned to them. He desires also specially to thank those members of the Templeton contingent, who were present, for the praiseworthy exertions which they so successfully made in order to be able to take part in the evolutions of the Review; and has pleasure in recording that, although they had only been in possession of their arms for four days previous, they were no whit behind the members of the metropolitan portion of the Company. He also thanks the non-commissioned officers for the Excellent manner in which they discharged their respective duties; and, ■ although they were disqualified (owing to the unserviceable temper of the locks of their Lancaster Arms), he is glad to be able to congratulate the Company upon having made the highest score in the match for the Company Sweepstakes.
