THE CHRISTCHURCH QUAY AND HEATIICOTE TOWNSHIP ESTATE TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION AT AN EARLY DAY, Br Messrs. j. ollivier & son, in lots for the convenience of purchasers (unless an acceptable offer be previously made) and upon easy terms of payment. Lot 1 will comprise all that well known wharf and waterside premises called Christchurch Quay, together with the warehouses, dwelling-house, offices, store, cellars, outbuildings, crane wharf, yards, and premises of half an acre, where a very extensive coal and timber trade is now being carried on by Messrs. Montgomery, Todhunter & Co. as tenants from year to year at the veiy low annual rent of £200, on terms to give up possession at a month's notice if required. . . These premises are perhaps the most suitable and best adapted for a brewery of any in Canterbury. Lot 2 will comprise the new dwelling-house on the opposite side of the creek, replete with every convenience, stables, outbuildings, extensive garden well stocked with fruit trees, grass paddock containing about sa. lr., having large valuable frontage up the river.
