Bruce & coe's booking office is now open for the reception of packages, parcels, &c., to be forwarded to any part of the province. Bruce & Coe having made arrangements with a shipping agent in Lyttelton, are prepared to forward parcels to any part of the colonies. There will also be a passenger and parcels conveyance in attendance at the office for the delivery of parcels, &c., in Christchurch and its vicinity. Passengers and parcels booked for Kaiapoi, Woodend, Rangiora, Saltwater Creek, or any other place on the North road. WANTED,— A person to make up the preliminary list for the formation of the RATEPAYERS' ROLL for this district. A tracing of the district, with the several sections laid down as on the Land Office Map. will be handed to him, and his duty will be to ascertain the manner in which these sections have been subdivided, and to furnish a detailed statement shewing the names of the owners and occupiers of each subdivision, together with a description of the buildings and thereon. The district may be roughly described as comprising the land situated between the W&iniakariri and the Town Belt—the North Road and the Sea. The exact limits are given in the Provincial Secretary's advertisement defining the boundaries of each district, to which applicants are referred. He will receive a Map of the District, and it will be required of him to delineate correctly thereon the subdivisions of any of the sections subdivided, and to give a detailed statement shewing the names of the owners and occupiers of the sections or subdivisions thereof, together with a description of the buildings and improvements thereon. It is requested that the applicant states the salary for which he is willing to undertake the duties required. .
