POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails per Royal Mail Steamer for Sydney, Brisbane, and Nelson will close at Christchurch at 8.30 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 10.30 a.m., on "Wednesday, the 10th instant. Mails per Boyal Mail Steamer for England, the Australian Colonies, India, the MediteiTanean Ports, and Dunedin, will close at Christchurch at 7 p.m., and at Lyttelton at 9 a.m.; and at Kaiapoi, at 1 p.m., on Saturday, the 13th inst. Money orders must be obtained before noon on that day, and letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m. same day, at both towns. Late letters, by payment of an extra shilling stamp upon each letter, can be posted at Christchurch up to 9.30 p.m., and at Lyttelton to 11.30 p.m. on Saturday, the 13th inst. F. E.
