Her last employment, on the Cape coast, was 111 the capacity of a sailing vessel, but lier whole machinery, including boiler gear, shafts, screws, &c\, are all on board of the vessel, and can be set up at a very trifling expense. Her model is handsome, schooner riseed Her cargo capacity is very large, and her extreme light draught of water (only drawing six feet with a full cargo of dead-weight), renders her without exception a most valuable slap for-the bar harbours and shallow rivers in New Zealand.
