ALTERATION OF MAILS TO TIMARU, FROM TWICE TO THREE TIMES A WEEK. On and after tho Ist proximo, the South Road Mails will close at Christchurch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 7 a.in. The mails for Christchurch and intermediate offices will close at Timaru on the same days and hours. A ship mail for London, per White Star, will close at Christchurch at noon, and at Lyttelton at 2 p.m., on the 3rd proximo. Letters to be forwavded by this opportunity must be specially addressed " per White Star." Mails for Dunedin and the Bluff, per s.s.
