A Good Find.—A digger requiring a button and not finding one in liis bachelor's tent, wept outside to where he recollected seeing an old pair of trousei?, from which he hoped to get the required convenience. Having secured the button, he was about to throw the inexpressibles away, when fancying they were heavy in the pockets he turned them inside out. From one he got a nugget weighing oyer two ounces, and from the other a fast decaying purse with nearly a pound's worth of silver in it. The length of time the trousers had laid in the same place, and passed daily by a goodly number of people must have been considerable, as the garments fell to pieces during their brief examination. 'Tl> e finder promises himself a merry Christmas on( the strength of the treasure trove. —InglewoodAdvertiser-
