Nomination, accompanied by a deposit of £5, to be made on or before the 31st December, 1863; and horses to be named to the Secretary of the Turf Club, at or before Six o'clock, p.m., on Saturday, the 27th of February. To be handicapped by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint, and the weights to be declared by the Secretary, at or before Twelve o'clock on Monday, the 29th of February. Acceptances or forfeits to be declared or paid, as the case may be, at or before Twelve o'clock at noon on Saturday, March sth. One mile and a half. WEDNESDAY, March 9. The Maiden Plate of 100 sovs; entrance 10 sovs each, h. ft., for all horses that never had, at the time of entering, won an advertised race where more than 20 sovs of public money were given (matches excepted). For three-years old, Bst lib; four, 9st lib; five, 9st 6lb; six and aged, 9st 8lbs; 3lbs allowed to mares and geldings. Allowance to English-bred horses: three-years old, 12lbs; four, 6lbs; five and six, 2lbs. One mile and a-quarter.
