Terms: £5 a mare, or a guarantee for £7-, groomage, ss. An allowance will be made to any one bringing three margs. Good paddocks provided for mares coming to this horse, at ss. per week. He is a dapple grey, 6 years old, possessing great power, and having the best of characters as a staunch draught horse; and is also a sure foal getter; has an excellent temper. Terms—Three guineas per mare, payable the Ist of January, 1864, and 5s the groom. The above horse will be at the Lion Hotel, Rangiora, on Mondays; Cameron's Saltwater Creek, on Wednesdays; and on the Island, Kaiapoi, on Fridays. All mares tried payable. THIS splendid draught stallion, by the Clydesdale horse Canterbury, imported by Watts Russell, Esq., out of an imported Clydesdale mare, bred by E. Hay, Esq., Pigeon Bay. Magenta is rising 5 years old, stands 16J hands high, perfectly quiet, a good worker, and a sure foal getter. Will stand this season at the stables formerly belonging to Mr. Moorhouse in Armagh street, and is to bie seen at the Golden Fleece Hotel stables daily. Terms—£s; groomage ss. The Prince is a pure Clydesdale; was bred by Robejt Hutcheson, Esq., Craigsland, Ayrshire, Scotland. His sire was the celebrated horse Prince Albert, grandsire Fulton's Clyde, great-grandsire Frame's Old Champion; his dam by Clydesdale Rival. He took ten prizes in Victoria as the best draught entire, during three years. Terms, £8; each mare payable Ist of February, 1864. Groom's fee, 10s, payable at first visit.
