GORSE CLIPPINGS.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE LYTTELTON TIMES.
Sir,—As I am in the habit of constantly travelling on the Papanui road, may I be permitted to ask whose duty it. is to clear away a quantity of gorse cuttings which have accumulated on the footpath at his Honor Mr. Justice Gresson's paddock in the town reserves. After dinner and in the dark, coming in contact with such sharp pointed customers, is anything but agreeable. Your obedient servant, . TRAVELLER.
