NOTICE TO CONSIGNEES. x . mHIS ship having reported at the Custom House, consignees are requested to present Bills of Lading and pay Freights without whose order no cargo will be delivered. Arrangements will be made to lighter the cargo, and full particulars of goods intended for transshipment to Christchurch must be sent in at once to the agents. Goods ordered for Christchurch shall be transshipped to a steamer or sailing craft, if either can be obtained; but if crafts cannot be obtained, any goods impeding the discharge of the ship, shall be landed in Lyttelton. Parties objecting to have their goods lightered as above, will please give written notice on or before the 22nd instant, and it will be necessary for them to have crafts alongside after that date, to take delivery of their goods as they come to hand. After the 22nd, all goods not passed for at the Custom House, will be cleared by Messrs. J. M. Heywood & Co., and landed at consignees' risk and expense, in terms of the Bills of Lading. J. T.
