L. and A. L. Mellish, to have sold by public auction, License to depasture stock on Runs No. 329, 175, and 386, containing about 26,000 ACRES of good sheep country, situated near Lake Heron. The above runs will be sold by public auction at an early date unless disposed of privately before the day of sale. The improvements consist of good five-roomed cob-house, hut with three rooms, wool shed, stockyard, sheep yard, and paddock, fenced in. PURE BRED MERINO SHEEP. MESSRS. MILES & CO. have been instructed to sell:— 6 TWO-TOOTH PURE BRED MERINO RAMS. These Rams were got by Ram No. 114, imported from Mecklenburg by Archdeacon Hadfield, for the Otaki Institution, ex Constance, from England. 2 SIX-TOOTH PURE BRED MERINO RAMS. These Rams were got by Ram No. 129, imported by Robert Beauchamp, Esq., and bred by Carl Augast Gadegast Oschatz, Saxony. 1 PURE BRED MERINO RAM LAMB. This Ram was got by Ram No. 109, bred by J. F. Hoffschlaiger, Mecklenburg, imported in the Hermine by Messrs. Krull & Co. 2 FOUR-TOOTH PURE BRED MERINO EWES. These Ewes were got by Ram No. 114, same as two-tooth rams. 2 SIX-TOOTH PURE BRED MERINO EWES. 4 EIGHT-TOOTH PURE BRED MERINO EWES. These Ewes were got by Ram No. 129, same as six-tooth rams. This valuable draught of Sheep are all the progeny of three pure bred Ewes, No. 79, and two others imported to Wellington by Robert Beauchamp, Esq., who purchased them, regardless of expense, from Carl Augast Gadegast Oschatz, Saxony.
