COMMERCIAL.
CHKISTCHURCH LIVE STOCK MARKET. Mr. W. D. Barnard reports as follows, for the week ending April 25tli, 1863: — Horses.—Nine draught mares and geldings have been disposed of. at prices varying from £52 10s to £80, averaging £61 10s each; 24* saddle and harness mares and geldings, from £14 to £42; several unbroken colts and lillies, from £9 to £17. Cattle.—Twenty-three head, consisting of cows, two and three-year-old steers, fit for the butcher, at £10 6s per head; an inferior mixed mob of 19 head, at £8 10s per head; 7 cows in full milk, from £7 to £16 10s. The horse market is still very bare of really good useful stoek; the few that have come to hand have been readily disposed of at high rates. There is still a glut of inferior horses of every description. GRAIN MARKET.—MILLERS' REPORT. Flour, wholesale, £14 to £14 10s per ton. Ditto, retail, 16s per lOOlbs. Bran, Is 0d per bushel Sharps, Is 6d ditto.
