NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Commissioners of the Waste Lands Board will sit at the Land Office, Christchurch, on FRIDAY, the Ist day of MAY next, at 10 a.m., to receive Pasturage License Fees, under the Land Regulations of Ist April, 1856. By Clause 51 of the Amended Land Regulations, Pasturage License Fees may be paid at any sitting of the Board between the 20th of April and the Ist of May. Licensees of runs in the Upper Ashley and Ashburton Districts, whose runs were allotted by the Board in January and February last, will be required to pay towards the cost of the survey of their runs at the rate of 20s per thousand acres, on the Ist of May next. NOTICE. —Tenders will be received at the Commissioner's Office, Christchurch, or the Police Stations throughout the Province, for the supply of Forage for the above department, to be delivered at the several places specified below and subject to the following conditions:— The articles to be of the best quality of their kinds. The supplies to be obtainable as required on the requisition of the person in charge of the station, with whom it will rest to refuse to receive supplies if he considers the qualityindifferent. In the event of failure by the contractor to supply the articles when required, they will be otherwise procured, and the expenses charged to the contractor. Payments to be made in the several districts at the end of every month, for supplies received in the same. Contracts to take effect from and after the Ist of May, 1863, and continue in force until the 30th of April, 1864.
