Walters and Brown, Rakaia, shall receive the above reward. Rakaia'Hotel, South Bank, May 30,1862. 2106 STRAYED from Mr. Moorhouse's, Papanui Road, on Sunday last, a small black PONY, with saddle. The pony has been recovered without the saddle. Any person finding the same who will return it to Mr. Moorhouse's groom, will be rewarded. The pony was found eastward of the Papanui Road near St. Albans. May 16,1862. 1923 FIVE POUNDS REWARD. WHEREAS some evil disposed person has from time to time feloniously carried away posts and rails from the fences on my land on the South Christchurch road (lately the property of E. C. Latter, Esq.,) 1 hereby offer a reward of £5 to any one giving such information as may lead to the conviction at law of the offender. The public who pass down the South Christchurch road are requested to make use of the Government highway provided for them, and not to turn my yard and pasture land into a public thoroughfare, as after this notice all trespassers will be prosecuted.
