POST OFFICE' NOTICES.
Mails per Queen for England, India, the Australian colonies, and Dunedin will close on Friday, the 13th inst., at Lyttelton at 4 p.m., and at Christchurch at 1 p.m. Late letters, on payment of the usual fee of sixpence on each letter, can be posted at Christchurch until 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton until within one hour prior to the sailing of the steam vessel on Saturday, the 14th instant. Mails per Airedale for the same places as above will close at Lyttelton at 10 p.m., and at Christchurch at 8 p.m., on Saturday, the 14th instant. Letters for registration to go by this mail must be posted prior to 4 p.m. at both places. Late letters, on payment of the usual extra fee, can be posted for England and Dunedin only until 9 a.m. at Christchurch, and at Lyttelton until 11 a.m on Monday, the 16th instant. NOTE. —The mail steamers only remaining in Lyttelton sufficient time to take the mails on board, all letters to go by them must be posted in accordance with the above notices. F. E.
