TO THE ELECTORS OP THE CITY OF CHRIST CHURCH. /^ENTLE MEN,—When you did me the honor VJ six months ago of choosing me as one of your ltepreHentativ(!B in the Provincial Council, neither of us anticipated so abrupt a termination of the connection between us as the enlargement of the Council has rendered necessary. My impression certainly was that I had entered into your service for the usual period of existence allotted to that branch of the legislature, and if such was also your impression, and you are wishful to renew our connection, I beg1 to place my services at your command.
