LYTTELTON. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16th, 1861. SALE BY AUCTION OF VALUABLE LEASEHOLD AND FREEHOLD PROPERTIES, LYTTELTON. MESSRS. P. NOBLE CAMPBELL and Co. have received instructions from the owner to sell by Public Auction, ON WEDNESDAY NEXT, OCTOBER 16th, The following Valuable Properties : 1. That Dbsibable Residence, commanding a full view of the Town and Harbor, with Garden well stocked with Fruit Trees in their prime, known as « HIGHLAND COTTAGE," | containing entrance hall, dining room, drawing room, three bed rooms, dressing room, and kitchen, with recent improvements, inclusive of a handsome bay window in the drawing room, at present in the occupation of A. Edmiston, Esq., together with an additional plot of land of la. lr. lOp. immediately contiguous, adapted for a paddock, or for building purposes, containing in all 2a. 12p.: The whole held under Lease from Christ's College, Canterbury, MOBS THAN EIGHTEEN YEABS OF WHICH ABE STILL TJNEXPIBED, At a small annual ground rent, And has been hitherto let at the yearly rental of £100, exclusive of the la. lr. lOp. plot not yet enclosed. That plot of land on the opposite side of Selwyn Road, adjoining Mr. Schenkel's on the southeast, at per foot frontage. 5. That plot of land and dwelling house thereon, recently put into thorough repair, situated in Hawkhurst Road, adjoining Town Section No. 312 on the south-east, and at present occupied by Mr. H. Davis, containing 34p. 13r. or thereabouts. 6. That plot of meadow land, desirably situated for a family residence, in a most healthy locality, having a frontage of tcvo chains on Jackson Road, and of five chains on Seiwyn Lane, containing 1 acre.
