POST OFFICE NOTICE.
Mails per Prince Alfred for England, India, the Australian Colonies, and Northern Ports of New Zealand will close on Monday the 7th instant: at Lyttelton at 11 a.m., and at Christchurch at 8.30 a.m. _ Late Letters can be posted, by affixing an additional Sixpenny Postage Stamp on each Letter: at Lyttelton until 2 p.m., and at Christchurch until 12 at noon. ¥.
