THE Taranaki Relief Committee direct the publication of the following Minute Paper, at a Meeting held September 16,1861: — " Resolved, that the proceeds of the subscriptions to the Taranaki Relief Fund, after deducting the expenses incident in the collection thereof, be placed at the disposal of the Taranaki Committee, for the relief of cases of actual distress arising out of the recent Maori war, hut not for compensation for losses resulting therefrom."
