The latest is the arrival of the «J7th Regiment from Calcutta, ami that the 3rd lJuffs are are daily expected., General orders, have heeri Issued by the Governor-General in conformity with despatches from'the home Government for enlistment of discharged soMiersfor service in Chhra, A grant of two years' service is offered to those men . who have not taken, rtieir discharge; a bounty of fifty rupees npon ishe condition, that they enlist, for tew years* service. Various and contradictory, rumours are afloat as to the rebel army in Nepaul; it is now stated that Nana Sahib maintains his position, then that he intends to return; another that he is dead; another that, there is a consultation in his camp, and that the several leaders agree to unite their,forces and place \ them under his orders. In .addition to these reports' «ro details', of the dispersion of the Nanars followers, • jind tlie miserable plight they are reduced to for want of,fbod and clothing. .One thing is certain, that our tiM>ops have taken the field against the rebels.
