" Young Skeleton" is a chestnut horse, branded* C H near shoulder; was bred by Mr. Charles Hearne, and was foaled in 1843; was got by the imported horse Skeleton, "out of a mare by the imported horse Steeltrap, her sire the imported horse Egremont. Master Robert, the sire of Skeleton, was got by Buffa, out of Small Hopes by Scaramouch, ber dam by Blank Traveller; Buffa by Pantaloon, out of a Herod mare. Pantaloon by Match'ein out of Curiosity by Snap, Regulus, Brutus, Childers, (vide Stud Book, p. 409 vol. L) Egremont by Whalebone, out of Talestres, (bred by Mr. Glossip, in 1809), by Alexander, her dam Rival by Sir Peter out of Hornet by Drone. Valpy, Esq., late the property of Mr. William Muir, Hurdington Mains, Lanarkshire, will stand during the season, at the Armagh Street Depot, Christchurch. Young Prince Royal is 7 j'ears old, a dark brown, with black points, of excellent temper, and perfect symmetry,sixteen and a half hands high, and is unequalled for power and bone. Young Prince Ro}'al was got by Prince Royal, tbe property of John Barr, Esq., Barangry, Renfrewshire, which horse gained the second prize at the Highland and Agricultural Society's show at Edinburgh ; and at Aberdeen gained the Ist prize in competition against the horse that gained at Edinburgh; also, was gainer of the Ist prize at Johnstone. Tonng Prince Royal's dam gained four Ist prizes at Erskine, and a 2nd at Johnstone open show : his own sister gained the Ist prize at Renfrew, and a 2nd at Erskine; also, his sister, the property of Andrew Logan, Esq., of Cross Flat, Kilbarchan, gained the Ist prize at the Highland and Agricultural Society's show at Berwick, open to Great Britain. She has gained upwards of sixty Ist prizes, and Mr. Logan has been several times offered £500 sterling for her j his own sister, two years old, gained three Ist prizes; also, his own sister, one year old. gained two Ist prizes. Young Prince Royal, when one year old, gained the 2nd prize at Renfrewshire show, Ist prize at Erskine, and the Ist prize at Johnstone, open show. When two years old, he gained tho Ist prize at Renfrew, tho Ist prize at Erskine, aud the 2nd at lurkiutillock open show. Terms—Ten Guineas per mare, payablo on or before the Ist February, 1860. Good paddocks at ss. per week. Mares will receive every attention, but no responsibility will be incurred. Apply at tho Armagh Street Depot. J. W.
