Blakiston, who were elected in 1857, to serve as the Lay-Representatives of. Christchurch, Lyttelton, and the country districts respectively, at, i the first general synod to be held at Wellington, it is riecessary to, proceed to afresh election: of Lay-Representatives for these districts, and that voting papers for this purpose may be obtained by application' to tlie' Clergymen and Churchwardens of the several parochial districts.
