A Meeting was held at Christchurch, on Monday last, Nov !9th, at the White Hart Inn, of the emigrantsand passengers whoarrved in the first four ships, viz., Charlotte Jane, Randolph, Sir George Seymour, and Cress'y, for ihe purpose of taking into consideration the best method of celebrating the fifth anniversary of their arrival in the Settlement of Canterbury. In pursuance of a resolution, then proposed and adopted, all passengers and emigrants who arrived in the abovenamed ships, are hereby requested to attend an Adjourned Meeting on Monday next, Nov. 26th, 1855, at 7 o'clock in the evening, for the purpose of forming a Committee, and to take such steps as may appear necessary to carry out the object they have in view.
