Passengers, Mr. A. E. White, Miss Wakefield, Miss Law, Misses. Paul (2), Mr. and Mrs. Chapman, and Mr. F. Chapman, Captain Chesney, Dr. Johnston, Mr. 11. Wailt, Master Bowler, and Mr. and Mrs. Foote; steerage, Jules Verron, Mrs Polhill, and 5 children. imports. In the Fairy, —soßo feet timber, 1 ton. potatoes, and 1 k-*g butter, Eraser. In tlie Admiral Grenfell, —80 head cattle, HOD sheep, 10 qr. casks whiskey, 5 baskets Marsala, 5 (iv. sherry, 3 do. champagne, 5 cases claret, 4 do. port, 2U bags sugar, 32 tins bis-
cuit, 12 bales tweeds, 4 drays, 50 packages furr niture, &c, <Sec, tea, &c. .:,.- In the Kawai, —1 qr. cask whiskey, .J.do. sherry, 1 case cigars, 5 tons N. Z. flour, sugar, rice, pepper, chairs, clocks, &c, and 8 hhds. of ale. exports. In the Hashemy, —B bales wool, and 10,000 feet sawn timber.
Married.—On the 12th, at Christchurch, by the Rev. C. Mackie, George Chantler Beard, 8.A., of Riccarton, Esq., late of Corpus Cbristi College, Cambridge, to Ann, eldest daughter of the Rev. Charles Mackie, of Stricklands, Christchurch.
