TjlOR SALE, a number of first rate Cart -*- and Saddle Horses, Working Bullocks Milch Cows, in Calf and with Calves at foot and about 600 sheep of the first class, including two Bams of superior quality. * The above horses have been selected with thl greatest of cave from the most approved stoei and by the best judges of Port Philip. \ I The Milch Cows have been likewise carefully chosen from the herds of the most careful breeders of the colony. The Working Bullocks, with Bows, Yokes, and Chains, can be warranted as most unexcep^r tionable, being in good condition, and perfectly quiet. J As regards the sheep, it requires only to be stated that they have been carefully selected irom the well-known flocks of George Mercer Esq., of the Bovnan. ' Likewise ■Bullock Drays, Carts and Harness complete, a few casks of Corned Beef, Mutton Hams and Dried Tongues, 100 bushels of Seed Oats, and 200 bushels of Bran. To the Settlers of New Canterbury. rpHE Undersigned continues to contract -1- for the erection of Cob-Houses, Ditch and Bank Fencing, &c, the following are his terms: Cob-Houses, walls not exceeding 8 ft. high, nor 18 in. thick, 4s. 6d.. per square yard, other dimensions in like proportion. Ditch and bank fencing at 7%d. per cubic yard of excavation, (thus a ditch 5 ft. top, 1 ft. bottom, 3 ft. deep, with bank raised 3 ft. would cost 135. 9d. per chain.) He also begs to assure parties employing him that the greatest attention will be paid to the proper levels, so requisite for the thorough drainage of the land ; and generally so little attended to. He further begs to state that his works in Ditch and Bank Fencing may be seen at Messrs. Deans, Biccarton, and at Ham, the estate of J. C. W. Russell, Esq.; Cob-Building, &c, at C. E.
