FANCY DRESS DANCE AT GIBBSTON.

A Fancy Dress Dance in aid of the Gibbston Lawn Tennis Ciub took place in the local schoolroom on Friday evening last. Although the attendance was not quite up to the expectations of the promoters, the dance was regarded as the most enjoyable that has been held in Gibbatcn for soma time past. The majority of the ladies were in fancy dress, aod many of the costumes displayed striking originality in their design, The floor was in capital order for dancing and excellent music was supplied by Misses B Kinross and 8 Scott. Mr Gerald Enright was M.C. A dainty supper was supplied by the lady members of the Ulub.
