Weekly Market Report. Stronaoh, Morris and Co.. Ltd;, report for weok ended Thursday, 26th ,June, 1919, as follows:--Fat Cattle :—2lO penned—a fair yarding, and prices were fully up to last week's rates. Prime bullocks £2O to £23 ss, medium £l6 10s to £l9, light £l3 to £ls, prime cows and heifers £l4 to £l6, medium £ll to £l3, light £9 to £lO ', Fat Sheep—2o9B penned, consisting ohiefly of medium and light - weight ewes and wethers, with a few pens of prime sheep. There was a keen demaudfor prime sheep, and prions showed an advance on last week's rates. Prime wethers 46s to 555, medium to good 39s to 445, light and unfinished 33s to 375, prime ewes 403 to 4Gs, medium to good 35s to 395, light 21s to 28s Lambs—937 penned, the quality not being quite up to last week's standard. Competition, however, was good, and values were /pqual to week's rates. Prime lambs to 365, medium to good 25s to 28s, light 17e 9d to 21s

Hides—Our next sale will be held on Thursday, 26th June Oats—There has been \ery little business passing during the week, Buyers are not keen to operate at present, and growers are still firm holders. Quotations: — Prime milling 4/2 to 4/3, good to best feed 4/1 to 4/2, inferior to medium 3/6 to 3/9 per bushel (sacks extra) Wheat—Millers have now good stocks on band, and will not accept lines unless they are in good condition. A large number of consignments of wheat coming to hand are in soft condition, and will have to be sold as fowl wheat. , > Chaff—There is a 'good demand for prime oaten sheaf chaff, while medium lines also meet with a better enquiry. Quotations — Prime quality to £6 15s, good oaten sheaf l . £6 5s to £6 10s, medium to good £5 10s to £6, light and inferior to £4 10s per ton (.sacks extra) Potatoes—There is a good demand for prime quality, but the majority of the lines coming to hand during the week have been of medium quality, and these do. not meet with a ready sale.
