Weekly Market Report. Stronaob, Morris and Co., Ltd,, report (or wook ended Thursday, 19th June, 1919, us follows:--Fat Cattle:—222 penned—a fair yarding of ; good quality. Competition was good and prices showed an advance of 10s per bead on last week's rates. Prime heavy bullocks £2O to £23 15s, medium £l6 10s to £l9, light £l3 to £ls, prime cows and heifers £l3 10s to £l6 10s, medium £lO to £l2, light £8 to £9 10s Fat Sheep—22B7 penned—a medium yarding, consisting chiefly of medium and light weight ewes and wethers, with a few pens of heavy-weight sheep. Exporters were buying freely, and consequently prioes showed an advance of Is to 2s per head on last week's market. Prime heavy wethers to 51s, medium 36s to 425, light 303 to 355, prime ewes 35s to 435, medium 28s to 325, light 23s to 27b Lambs—l6s3 penned—the quality on the whole being better tban the last few sales. Export buyers were operating froely, and prioes showed an advance of 2s per head on Inßt week's rates. Prime lambs 32b to 365, medium 28s to 325, light 20s to 255, store lambs to 13s. Pigs—There was a good yarding of fat pigs came forward. Competition was good, and last week's prices were fully maintained, A -mall yarding of stores was offered, and prices were firm at last week's rates. Stronach, Morris. <ft Co. Ltd. report for week ended Tuesday. 17th June, as follows : Rabbitskins—We held a sale yesterday when we submitted a large catalogue to a full attendance of buyers. Competition was very keen, and off-season skins shewed a rise of Id to 3d per lb, while prime skins advanced 8d to 15d per lb, and in some oases over Is per lb. We submitted some very good lines of prime skins, and secured highest prices for the sale in winter does, winter bucks, inooming, early winters, and autumns. Quotations : Best winter docs 84d to 87d, best winter buoks 69d to 71 d, early winters to 70d, winter buoks and does (0 65fd, incoming skins to 67£ d, autumns to Gl|d, bust fawns t3 43d, 2nd fawnß to 23d, autumn and incoming to 38d, racks to 25.\d, light racks to 19fd, small to 10|d, best blacks to 88d, autumn blaoks to 50d, summer blacks to 24d, horsehair to Is|d per lb, catskins 3d to 12d each Sheepskins—The Government are holding a valuation next week. Hides—We held a sale on Thursday last, when we submitted a small catalogue. We < ffered the hides to the tanners first, and what they did not take went to auction, competition was very keen, and good pricos resulted. Quotations :—Stout heavy ox to 13d . medium lid to 12d; heavy oow hides lljd to 12d ! medium 10Jd to 11 |d ; others 9d to lOd ; yearlings 9d to 10Jd; best oalftkin to 18d ; heavier to 16d ; others 8d to 12d per lb. Oats—There are very few offering, and farmers are still firm holders. Quotations : Prime milling 4/3 to 4/4, good to best feed 4/- to 4/2 per bushel (sacks extra) Wheat—Millers have now good stooks on band, and will not accept lines unless they are in good condition. A large number of consignments of wheat coming to hand are in soft condition, and will have to be sold as fowl wheat.

Chaff—TVery little ohaff is coming to hand of late, and there is a keen enquiry for bright heavy oaten sheaf, but very little offering. Medium lines have also had better enquiry of late. Quotations —Best oaten sheaf £6 5s to £6 10s ; choice to £6 15s ; medium to good £5 10s to £6 per ton (sacks extra) Potatoes—lnoreased consignments have been offering of late, and the demand is not bo keen, and is chiefly for prime quality, Best tables £8 to £8 ss; choice to £8 10s, medium to good £6 to £7 per ton (sacks in). All quotations are subject to market fluctuations r Wheat.—Qood demand at Government prices. Oats—Good demand. Milling 3/6, bright short feed to 3/5, medium and inferio 3/3 to 3/4 on trucks.
