Competition was good, and values all over showed an advance of la to Is 6d on last week's rates. Best wethers 37s 6d to 39s 6d ; extra to 43s 6d; medium Sis to 38s; best owes 33s to 34s 6d; extr» to 38s 6d ; medium 28s to 30a. Fat Lambs. —691 penned. Competition was not so good as of late, and prices were easier, Quotationsßest lambs 26s to 28s ; extra to 37s 6d; medium 21s to 235; unfinished lots 17s to 19s. - Pigs -A small yarding of fats came to hand for which good prices were obtained. A medium yarding of stores was offered, for wbioh late rates were obtained Beat baconers to 104s; medium to good 75s to 84a ; best porkers to 60s; medium to 52s 6d. Rabbitskins ;—Our next Hale will be held on Monday, 26th inst. Sheepskins.—Pending word from the Government re valuations, all sheepskins are held in store meanwhile. Hides - —Our next sale will be held on Thursday, Btb inst. Oats—'ihe market remains quiet, andvery little business to report Stocks in store are almost exhausted, and very few lines are offering from the country Prime milling 2s lid to 3s; good to best feed 2s 9d to 2s lOd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat—Fowl wheat is in fair demand, and can be sold at from 5a 6d to 5s 8d for best quality, and 5s to 6s 6d per bushel for medium (sacks extra). Chaff—The morket is more heavily supplied, and late values are not maintained The demand is solely for chaff of prime quality, and anything else is hard to quit. Prime oaten sheaf £4 5a to £4 7a 6d; medium £3 10s to £4 per ton (sacks extra).
