FOOTBALL.
The Cup match, played between Queenstown and Arrow Clubs at Queenstown yesterday resulted in a win for Ar row, after a closely contested game, by 6 points to 5. R. McDowall and T. Ryan scored tries for Arrow and C. Mcßride for Queenstown. Hamilton converted. Mr Crawshaw gave every satisfaction as referee. At Dunedin on Saturday the Otago team, after putting up a good game in the first half, were run over by the Taranaki team, who won by 27 points to three. In the junior representative match Otago beat Waihemo and Waikouaiti by nine points to five. Auckland beat Canterbury by six points to three.
