SOCIAL AND DANCE.
■♦ A most enjoyable social and dance in connection with the Wakatipu Mounted Rifles was held in the Lower Shotover School on Friday evening last. The attendance was large, and a happy time spent. Songs were contributed by Messrs Evans and Dunlop and greatly appreciated. Sergt. Ward carried out the duties of M.C. in a most able manner. First-class music was supplied by Mr S. Stephenson, assisted by Miss Grant, Lieut. Reid, A. Grant, W. Graham, and W. Evans. In the refreshment department delicacies were supplied on a liberal scale. Mrs Harris, and Misses J. Cosgrove, M Toll, and B. O'Neill, kindly assisted in providing and handing round refreshments. The Corps desires to thank all friends who so willingly gave their aid and attendance to make the function the buccess it undoubtedly
