gathering, and eacl\„ovent was well con- j tested. The weather'waafine in the morning but the afternoon was very*disagreeable and partly spoilt tho outing. The, sports committee supplied afternoon tea with eatables galore, and tho usual dance was held in the school at night. It was well patronised, dancing being kept up till morning.
