MILD MEANING.
A suburban clergyman had for some time boon displeased with, the quality of the milk supplied to him. by the local milkman. Although a mild-mannered man, who hated to complain, lie at last determined to remonstrate with his milkman for supplying such stuff. "I've been wailing - to sec you with reference to the milk, Cox," he began mildly. "Yes, sir," answered the milkman uneasily. "I only wanted to say," continued the clergyman, "that 1 use the milk for dietary purposes exclusively, not for christenings."
