Burnside Stock Sale

Fat Cattle.—l 27 yarded. Prime bullock?, which were in short supply, met with ready sale at last week's prices, but unfinished steers and heifers were lower. Best bullocks 18 15s to LlO, modium LC 153 to 1.8, light L 4 10s to L 6, b 'at heifers and cows L(i to L 7 lf.s, medium L 4 10i to L 5 120 6d, light L2 los to L 4.

Fat Sheep. —lo.">0 penned, t<ho majority being ewes, some prime, but. the bulk medium quality. Of a moderate supply of prime wethers only a few were choice. The sale improved a-i it progressed, and there was an advance of Is per iie;id, except for aged and inferior. Beat wethers lON Gd to 23*, extra prime 26s 3d. medium to good 10s 6d to 18s 6d, light 14s to 10s, best ewes 10s to 18s 9d, extra prime heavy 20a to 23s Gd, medium to good lis to lus, aged and inferior 4s to 10s.

Fat Lambs.—97o penned. The quality was not up to mark, and exporters not operating, prices fell fully Is. Iv<tra good made Kis t» 17s Gd, good 14s 3d to 15, Gd, medium 12s 6.1 to 13s 91, light 9s G! to lis Gd.
