SOUTHLAND H. AND O.A. BOARD.
At the Southland C.A. Board's meeting on Thursday last, all the membora were present with the exception of Mr Robert' son. The following business was transacted : The manager of Lome Farm reported that thore were 64 inmates of the institution—lß men, one woman, 30 boys, and J5 girls.—Received. The Dunedin Hospital Trust forwarded an account for £l4 14s for maintenance of a patient from Southland.- It was decided to acknowledge no liability in the mutter. Mr C. Robertson reported that ho had visited Lome Farm, and was highly
pleased with what he saw. Mr and Mrs Cole seemed to take a lively interest in both old and young. The Wakatipu Hospital Trust requisitioned for £484 Bs, a decrease of £27 12s, compared with the amount fixed last year —Granted. The Secretary stated that last year's balance-sheet had not accompanied the Arrow Trust's requisition, which amounted to £750 as compared with £493 last year. —The Chairman stated that in addition to the requisition being out of order, there were one or two items that the Trust's attention required to bo drawn to.—Consideration of the requisition was consequently deferred.
