KIND FRIENDS.
The neighbours were ve'ry kind to the widow. Some brought sympathy and good advice; others brought material cheer, food, raiment, and the like. Still others, and these were the most consideiate of all, came and told her how that she had aged ten years iu the three weeks since her husband's death. " How good of them!" exclaimed the widow, and wept tears of gratitude.
