Our Oibbston correspondent writes : —Mr J. Ritchiu, late of the Annie Queen dredge, has been appointed dredgemaster of the Gibbston dredya, and work will hj« started as soon nn a crew can bo got together.—The hut of the Morrimac dredge left (ribbston on Tuesday. Mr W. Pat ton, menager o? the Premier Sunrise G.M. OV., Ltd., re- '■ ports as follows : This company cleaned np for the month of May and obtained IOS'-s 14dwfc from 170 tonsj of quartz crushed. During the month 15 tons of concentrates vrerc treated for n roturn of 101 oz 9dwfe 15grs bullion valued at £o per ounce. The mill returns for the month are very much lower than those obtained for the month of April. This falling off hen been caused by a horse of mullock i having taken the place cf the reef in | two of our principal atopes, which has : not only lowered our gold returns, but l hs? also reduced our output) of stone. There aro indications, however, of the reef making again in ono of the atopes. I
