J3URNSIDB. Fat Cattle. —121 yarded, prices ruling about the same as last week. Bet-t bullocks £9 10s to £ll, medium to good £7 15s to £9 ss, best cows and heifers £8 to £6 7s Gd, medium £5 to £5 15s. Sheep.—l9s4 penned, prices ruling about Is lower. Best wethers 15s Gd to 17s 3d, medium lis to 15s 3:1, best ewes 13s 9d to 15s—extra heavy 10s 9d, medium lis Gd to 13s 6d. Lambs.—sG-4 yarded, prices about the same, viz., best 12s to 12s 91, medium 10s to lis 61, others 7a Gd to 9s GJ. Pit-s. —74 penned, all meeting with good domain!. Suckers Gs Gd to i3s, slips Ms Gd to 17s, stores 22s to 275, porkers 32s to 40s, baconers 4Gs to Goa. Addikgton. Eat Cattle. —17G head yarded, principally hoifers and cows. Prices were a triuV easier. Steers £6 10s to £9 17s 6(1, heifers £5 19s Gd to £9 10s, cows £5 10s to £G 7s Gd. Beef 25s to 29s per 1001b. Eat Sheep.—The entry was smaller than usual, but included a good proportion of prime freezing wethers, which were firm at last week's rates. Export buyers have reduced their limits for ewes, and prices suftored in consequence, but for best butchers' sorts competition was keener than usual.
