FERRY, THE HUMAN FROG.
On Saturday night the inhabitants of Arrowtown will be afforded the opportunity of seeing the marvellous “Ferry the frog ’ the greatest contortionist of the ago. r i his performer must be built on different lines to any other human being for ho can tie himself into all sorts of knots and put. his limbs into any position. His joints seem capable of bending in all directions This is what the Melbourne Age says of him : “ ‘ Ferry, the human frog,’ was the bright, particular star added to the Tivoli firmament at the Bijou on Saturday evening, and Mr Harry Richards may congratulate himself upon the engagement, ferry s performance was exceptionally clever, albeit weird, and the audience applauded his spineless efforts to the echo.” Th e combination includes a couple of first-class singers in Miss James and Mr Stanley. A line enjoyable entertainment of two hours and a half is given at hard times’ rates.
