The ship’s underwriters having sold the wreck, the purchasers engaged ]NIr T. W. Bowern to superintend salvage operations, and he has just returned to Hong Kong from the seme of the wreck to make his report. He had some wild times with the piiales, but succeeded in recovering some of the stolen property.
