POMAHAKA ESTATE.

At the piesent time the number of settlers on the Pwinahaka estate, according to tin: rvport of tin: Lauds and SSuivey Department, presented to Parliament last week, is 13, and the area occupied 3,129 acres at an annual rental of £515, including one temporary license over 10 acres at £1 per annum. The unlet area on March 31 was 4,224 acres, the annual rental of which is £670. The ainotnt of r.-nt collected during the year was £1)42, as against .£192 the previ us year.
