A pancake can be as light its a feather or as heavy as lead ; delicious to the palate, or .as tasteless as Hour and water; it may be plain or rich, sweet or dry. Nervousness is fatal to pancakes. Pancakes have also been known to be the cause of nervousness in those who confine themselves to eating them.—‘Pall Mall.’ A Heartfelt Loss. —Casey : “ So poor Cassidy is dead?
